BRIDGE EVENING
FAREWELL TO MISS B. H. EDWARDS. I In order to bid farewell to some of her friends, Miss B. H. Edwards gave a very jolly informal bridge party in the drawing room of the nurses' home, King George Y. Hospital last Wednesday evening. The reception room was fragrant with' pink and mauve sweet peas and roses, and the hostess received her guests wearing a hlack satin gown and autumn toned bridge coat. She was assisted by Miss Kelly,-who wore apple-green coin spot muslin. Progressive bridge was played during the evening, the winners being Miss E. J. Harris and Mr. El Crawford, while the consolation trophy was won by Mr. Currie. Musical horiours brought a very pleasant evening to a close. Among those present were: — (Mrs. E. Crawford, Mrs. Currie, Miss F. Stanton, Miss E. J. Harris, Miss J. Greer, Miss Kaa, Miss O'Shea, Miss Oi'Leary, Miss Bruce, Miss McGlynn, Miss Roberts, Miss Corbett, Miss Tully.
