The ' hum • of a propeller, the roar of motors, and Lady Cynthia Darrington's moth plane ascends into the heavens to hurl a romantic bomhshell into the orderly life of a staid British statesman, who has been a moral husb,and for 20 years. "Christopher Strong," featuring Katharine I Hepburn as the adventurous aviatrix and Colin Clive, opening at the Majestic Theatre to-night, pietures this dramatic, fast-stepping situation. Cynthia has deliherately veered from love and other youthful frivolities. Slie sates herself with daredevil speed, clipping 200 miles an hour in plane, hoat and car. Sir Christopher ! -Strong missed the adventures of ' youth', but as Cynthia sweeps the ! skies with her plane, falls in love with her. "Christopher Strong" was directed by Dorothy Arzner. Miss Hepburn is featured, with Colin Clive, Helen Chandler, Billie Burke, Ralph Forbes and Irene Brown in support. Zoe Akins adapted the story from Gilbert Frankau's novel. Although h'er role in "Christopher Strong" marks her second screen appearance, Katharine Hepburn is alrea'dy playing the featured part. Her debut was in' "A iBill of Divorcement."
