FRANKTON There was a good average yarding of ox iand cow beef at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards yesterday when the quality of- the yarding was not as good as the previous week. Values consequently were a shade- easier. There was no prime fat sheep yarded, though fat and store sheep carne forward n large numbers. Here again last week's rates were not maintained. Pigs were pen- i ned in well up to average numbers and values showed an easing tendency. Beef. — jPrime fat bullocks, £6 to £6 10s; medium fat bullocks, £5 7s 6d to £5 18s; lighter fat bullocks, £4 12s 6d to £5 5s. Sheep.— (Fat shorn wethers 23s to 24s 3d; unfinished wethers, 19s to 22s; extra prime shorn ew-es, 12s to 13s 6d; fat shorn ewes, 10s 6d to 11s 9d; fat shorn hoggets, 18s to 20s 6d; fat lambs, 15s to 22s. Pigs— Baconers, 40s to 55s; porkers, 26s to 37s; weaners, 14s to 15s; slips, 16s to 25s.
