Magicians Compete A troupe of gaily dressed Indians performed wonderful feats in front of a big audience which attended the annual dinners of the Magicians' Club at the Park Lane Hotel, West London. One of them broke an egg in front of his watchers, and then produced it intact from his mouth. A moment later a woman member of the troupe placed an egg inside a small baslcet and lifted the basket to reveal a score of tiny live birds hopping about over the spot where the egg had rested. Many other marvellous tricks which baffled even the assembled magicians were performed hy fellow-members during the evening.
