Rec. Dec. 9. Lausanne, Dec. 8. The Refugees' Commission deplored the fact that Europe is saturated with Jewish refugees from Ger--many, the favoured outlets being America and North and South Africa. Lord Cecil emphasised that Pales-. tine is full. He was sure the Dominions (though Britain could not speak therefor), would help to the utmost in the solution of the problem. Others pointed out that many additional refugees must he expeeted. M. Berenger said that France had admitted 30,000 refugees upon whom she had spent £96,465. She had found posts for forty professors and placed 4000 others in businesses. Lord Cecil said 142 professors had been placed in England besides 250 refugees from France.
