Thiank you for offering to assist with the decorations, hut I have such a lot of nice uncles and aunts belonging to cur. page that I think this time we shall be able to manage quite well. Roxane, Tarewa Road. — Our party seems to be causing quite a lot of excitement among our members, doesn't it, Roxane? I am So glad we decided to have it, as it will be lovely to meet you all and I shall know you so much better when we start the page after the holidays. Thank you so much for the interesting things you told me about London. No. I haven't been there, hut hope to go soon. Puck, Golfhouse, Whaka. — It was just lovely to hear from you again, my little elf. I really began to think that examjs had eompletely swallowed Puck up. I will remember about the story comer you auggest for -next year, but I think we will make it an original one instead of copied^ as Colleen alwlays likes to see how original her members can be. Marigold, Lytton St. — iNo I -don't think there is ony mistake, Marigold, about the new ir|eanbers, for you have been accredited -v^tih th'e nomination bf ■Sea Shell and C'larice, but you still ' have one more member to' get before
you can receive a merit card. Sweet Williairt, Clayton' Rd. — >Goodness, what' ia busy little person you are, colkcting such a lot of new members for our family, Sweet Wil-. liam. I think Mr. Mjeasles has had his fair share of victims and I hope he will leave you alone, especially with our party so near at hand. S>o far, no one has sent me any seeds for exchange, but if any come I will ( see that you receive them. Yes, the K.K.K. will he starting after the sc'hool holidays next year again. Peach Blossom, Hinemoa St— -Quite a good suggestion, Peach Blossom, and I will put it down for next year's ' ideas for our page. . . Daffy-Down-Dilly, Whaka Road. — Yes, I know how busy exams must keep you, Daffy, but I hope you have done well, after all that work. I am so sorry-toi hear Topsy is sick, and I do hope it isn't measles, for I want to see you both at the party next Saturday. Purple Violet. — It was so nice to get a letter from you this week, Purple Violet, and I was very pleased to hear you liked your certificate. Lilac, Amohau St. — Yes, it is to be a fancy dress party, Lilac, but if you haven't a fancy dress, a plain one will do. iSyrin'ga, Old Taupo Road. — What a jolly time you all scemed to have at the fancy dress ball. The grand march must have lookcd very colourful with' all the gay frocks. I am so glad you will be another of my members who will be coming to the party. Spring Fairy, Ngongotaha. — (Such a warm weleome for you, Spring Fairy, but Colleen was ever so sorry to hear that you had been one of the victims of Mr. Measles, which caused you to miss such a lot of nice things. However, I hope you will come to our party, and this time you know the measles can't stop you. Jean Millar, Eruera St. — Colleen was so sorry to hear thjat you have been sick again. You must be care-
ful and keep -well for the party, won't you? What a pfetty costume yours must have been at the ball. I will look forward to seeing it next Saturday. Yes, I anx going away for the Christmla.s holiday and am looking forward to them ever so much. Robin Hood, Whakaue St. — I am so sorry you won't be able to come to the party, Robin, but better luck next time. Yes, we are closing the page for the holidays, but will resume it when school opens once more. Wonder Wings, Eruera St. — I am s'O1 glad that you have written at last, Wonder Wings, and I hope by now that you .are feeling quite better. Tell your brother that I have entered him as one of our big family and he will receive his invitation for the party. Bluebell, Pukuatua St. — Yes, I raceived the postcard, but could not acknowledge it in our page, as it did not have any name attached, Bluebell. So glad you can come to the party. Peter Pan. Tutanekai St.. — We are getting* plenty of sun just now, Petter, so mother should he pleased. So glad' that you will be able to come to the party, and I do hope thla.t Father Xmas will give you that wonderful bicycle. I take it you have left a few hints lying about, and who knows# Tell Busy Bee I am sorry that she is not well, but that I hope she will be fully recovered soon and able to join us on December 9.
