Christchurch, Monday. A decision to exclude women members from pennant matches and from the management committee was arrive d at by a meeting of the Christchurch Bowling Centre to-night. Several women's clubs have been formed in the city in the last two years. They play on the men's greens but are not permitted to play on , Saturday afternoon and are not allowed to share in the management of the clubs. The centre's decision was really in anticipation of a possible demand by women to take a more active part in the game and in its administration. At the centre meeting to-night delegates said that they had no objection to women playing bowls but they did not want them in men's competitions.
