New Plymouth airport officials are 1 basing their plans on the belief that Mr. Ulm will begin his trans-Tasman flight about 2 o'clock on Monday morning and will arrive at New Plymouth on Monday afternoon. The last cable from the airman stated: "The 'Faith in Australia' will carry 750 gallons of petrol, which is considered to give ample reserve. Mr. Ulm says that he expects to complete the cpossing in 12 to 15 hours. The personnel of the party will be: C. T. P. Ulm (chief pilot), "S'cotty" Allan, R. B. Boulton (wireless operator), Mrs. Ulm and Miss Kathleen Rogers (Ulm's secretary).
