PARISH COMMISSION
INQUIRY INTO STATE OF AFFAIRS IN CAMBRIDGE Notification of the decision of the special commission set up by the Bishop of Waikato to inquire into the aifairs of St. Andrew's Parish has been received in Cambridge. The decision reads: "That circumstances exist tnat lead the commission, with regret, to the opinion that it is expedient that the Rev. G. Gordon Beli should be removed from his office as Vicar of Cambridge." Against this decision, the Rev. Mr. Bell has the right to appeal to a special court presided over by the Primate of New Zealand, the Rt. Rev. A. W. Averill. The commission, which consisted of Mr. T. C. Fookes, of New Plymouth (chairman), the Rev. W. G. Weaedon, of Paeroa, and Mr. B. C. Lowry, of Hamilton, sat at the Parish Hall, Cambridge, last Monday and Tuesday.
