Conciliation Council, in the shop assistants' dispute, failed to reach an agreement on th'e matter of wages, the employers saying that they could not agree to'the union's counter-proposals in regard to juniors. The Commissioner announced that it would he his du-ty to inform the clerk of awards that no agreement had been reiach'ed and the award would he cancelled.
