(Rec. 11 p.m.) Melbourne, Nov. 21. Features of the Victorian tennis singles to-day were the defeat of McGrath by A. Willard 2-6, 6-8, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3, and Hopkms' defeat of Wilde 7-5, 5-7, 6-8, 6-0, 6-2. J. Rogers of New South Wales, extendecJ Perry who won 8-6, 6-2, 6-3. Perry was his opponent's superIor only in court-craft and steadiness. Hughes beat Ewin 6-2, 3-6, 6-3, 6-8, 6-4. Quist, Turnbull and Crawford won their games.
