-By Telegraph— CoDyrleht).
(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Madrid, November 21. Senor Gil Gobles, the 34-yeax-old leader of the Popular-Action Party, ds jubilant at thje party's success. Clara Campoanor, a Radieal deputy who was mainly respo'nsible for the woman's suffrage, has been unseated, as have six Cabinet members headed by President Biarrios. Th'e Daily Express Madrid eorrespondent attributes the defeat of the Socialist-Repuhlicans largely to the brutal manner in which the new State has been separated from the Church. The destruction of the convents and the persecutions of the nuns and monks was a nightmare for the Catholic women. Moreover the agricultural reforms which the Republiean leaders promised have not materialised. Th'ere are 750,000 acres less land under cultivation than at the time of King Alfonso.
