Melbourne, Nov. 20. •Clifford Riddle, aged 10, fell Into a stormwater channel at Hawthorn suburb. He was carried a mile through open and closed sections of thS drain before being washed into the Yarra River, wh'en he managed to paddle ashore, little the worse for his experience.
