MEAT SHIPMENTS • FIGURES FOR OCTOBER The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board is advised by cable from ite London office that the shipments from Australia and South America to the United Kingdom during the month of October were as follows: — Australia Carcases mutton 43,998 Carcases lamb 492,943 Quarters beef 55,501 South America Carcases mutton 12,075 Carcases lamb 361,875 Quarters beef, frozen 2,750 Quarters beef, chilled 368,602 The shipments from New Zealand to the United Kingdom for the same period were as follows: — New Zealand Carcases mutton 56,113 Carcases lamb 76,725 Quarters beef 3,602 The shipments from South America to the Continent of Europe during the same period were as follows:— Mutton Nil Frozen beef — Nil
