(Rec. Nov. 17, 11 p.m.) Melbourne, Nov. 17. The Criclcet Board of Control has decided to inform the New Zealand Cricket Council that it was impossible to send a representative Australian team to New Zealand, before the middle of February, returning not later than April 4. The board desires that the New Zealand council should be responsible for the assembling of the team in Sydney before its departure and for the return of the members to their home States after the tour. The board also decided that it would he inopportune to entertain a visit from a Canadian team. The text of the board's cahle to the M.C.C| will be announced tomorrow.
