CHRISTIAN SOLUTION OF UNEMPLOYMENT NECESSARY TARANAKI METHQDISTS

-By Telegraph — Copyright).

Hawera, Friday. The Taranaki-W anganui Methodist Synod assembly re-affirmed the text of the Dominion Committee's recommendations in reference to the unployed situation. It also passed the following resolution : "This synod believes that there is a Christian solution of the problem, and that no solution other than a Christian solution will prove satisfactory. The Synod therefore suggests that steps be taken to call a conference of accredited representatives of the churehes to formulate a scheme and evolve a policy to which united Christians throughout the country will rally. To this end the Synod asks the president of the Methodist Conference to act along the lines suggested."
