GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGHT. Wsstern movie stars have to win their spurs by performing heroic feats of courage against desperate fellows, but Buck Jones, in his latest Columbia. thriller, "Sundown Rid-er," now showing at the Grand Theatre, is pited against four of these rascals. They
are colourful Western bad men characters, too, these desperadoes who force Jones to show his utmost skill in riding and shooting. "Sundown Rider" is ,a. gripping action melodramia of the old West, with Jones doing plenty of shooting, fighting against terrific odds and hard riding on his wonderful wh'ite horse, Silver. Jones has another splendid supporting cast in the picture, with pretty Barbara WTeeks as the heroine, Niles Welch, Wheeler Olakman, Bradley Page and Ward Bond as villains, Pat O'Malley appearing as Buck's staunch friend, and Frank La Rue and Ed Brady apearing as sheriffs.
