.There was a good yarding of all classes of fat sheep at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards yesterday, when last week's quotations were well maintained. Beef was yarded in large numbers, and under steady competition the market showed a firming tendency. Pigs also • came forward in large numbers, and here again values were very firm. Quotations — Sheep. — (Heavy woolly wethers, 26s 3 d to 28s; heavy shiorn wethers, 24s 6d to 25s 9d; mediumi shorn wethers, 22s to 23s 9d. light shorn wethers, 20s 6d to 21s 9d; prime young shorn ewes 16s 6d to 18s 6d; prime shorn ewes, 15s to 16s 3d; medium shorn ewes, 13s 6d to 14s 9d; killable ewes, 10s to 11s 3d; fat woolly ewes, 15s to 15s 9d; fat hoggets, woolly, 18s 6d to 20s 6d; shorn 17s to 19s 9d; fat lambs, 19s to 24s. Beef. — Heavy fat steers, £6 18s to £7 8s; medium' fat steers, £6 5s to £6 15s; lighter fat steers, £5 15s to £6 3s. heavy fat cows and heifers, £4 15s to £4 19s; medium. fat cows and heifers, £4 5s to £4 12s 6d; lighter fat cqws and heifers, £3 10s to £3 18s. Pigs. — (Baconers, £2 4s to £2 19s porkers, £1 8s to £2 2s.
