WOOL PRICES

SEVENTY PER CENT. RISE Sydney, Nov. 14. The advanee wool priees yesterday were due to a shortage of wool. It is now estimated that the Ausbranan clip will be 400,000 hales less than last year. A total decrease of 750,000 hales in the Australian, New Zealand, and South African supplies for the current twelve months makes an appreciable reduction in the quantities available for consumption. Sydney values are now 10 to 15 per cent above the top level last September, and on an average 70 per cent above those of a year ago.
