STOP WASTING TIME
London, Nov. 13. Continuing the disarmament debate, Colonel J. C. Wedgwood (Independent, Newcastle-under-Lyme) , said no concessions would change the present ruling spirit of Germany. Nothing would stop her re-arming. She had already re-armed and only needed aeroplanes, great guns, and tanks. Her only obstacle was lack of money and stock. For the first time England feared another war, that was why Fulham went over to Labour. The rest of the country would f ollow. The fear of being under the present German frankenstein was greater than the fear of being under the Kaiser's lieel. Britain's inviolable sea frontier had gone. They should not waste time talking about disarmament but they must know exactly what the Government meant to do and how far it intended to allow Germany to go in the exercise of force and defying treaties.
