A Noisy Bull
A mild reign of terror— jbut real enough to those concerned — preVailed in a Blenheim area one night recently owing to rampagings of an escaped hull (says the Marlborough Express). Mothers with children sleeping on porches trembled for their safety,. pedestrians "ducked" for the nearest gateway and night was made hideous hy the bellowing and pawing of the infuriated animal. Attempts were made to telephone to the horough' ranger, but his numher could not he found on the lists, so the police were communieated with and promised to send him along. Right } up till midnight the hull was adverI tising his existence, hut it might have been from the pound. ^ _ • •
