WAIRARAPA COMMISSIONERS RETURN TO THEIR HOMES PROTEST AGAINST COURT

Masterton, Monday. As a result of the deadlock arising through memhers of the Wellington District Mortgage Adjustment Commission returning to their homes as a protest against the alleged failure of the court* to uphold their decisions, Mr. H. Morrison (Wairarapa), president of the Farmers' Union, has _sent the following telegram to the Minister of Justice (Hon. J. G. Cobbe). "The Wairarapa Provincial Executive .of the Farmers' Union deeply appreciates the valuable and eqnitable service rendered hy memhers of e Wellington Mortgage Adjustment Commission and appeals for an immediate and sympathetic adjustment of the difficulties which have arisen and at the same time asks for the r^etention of the personnel of the commission."
