High School Master Resigns

The Rotorua High School Board last evening accepted with regret the resignation of Mr. J. J. Buchan from the staff of the intermediate departj ment of the school. Mr. Buchan has j been appointed to a position on the j staff of the Albany S't. Intermediate j School, Dunedin. Members of the board expressed general regret at Mr. Buchan's impending departure and paid a warm tribute to the value of his work as music master at the school. A motion to this effect was recorded on the minutes. The headmaster (Mr. W. G. Harwood) stated that Mr. Buchan had been solely responsible for the musical tuition at the school and that his loss would be very severely felt. Mr. Buchan will relinquish his duties at the end of the year.
