(Rec. 7.50 p.m.) Vancouver, Oct. 28. Damages amounting to 56,000 dollars were awarded to Edward Howlett father of Armand Howlett, a student, against the University at Edmonton through the boy becoming permanently insane as a result of "hazing" by students, in the ■ course of which he was divested of his clothing and dragged naked through the university corridors.
