(Rec. 6.30 p.m.) . Syd'ney, October 29 Mr. Charles Ulm, when arriving at Broken Hill on Friday stated that the crew would overhaul the machine at Sydney and then probably fly to New Zealand. Mr. Ulm and his companions, Messrs Taylor and Allan, landed at Mascot at 3.10 p.m. from Broken Hill. A~ great crowd assembled to greet them, including Sir Charles Kingsf ord Smith, who was the first to shake hands with his old flying pal. Mr. Ulm said: "We are glad to be home again. We had no idea of record breaking when we left England, but merely wished to demonstrate the manner in which the England-Aus-tralia mail route can be flown."
