SUDDEN DEPARTURE
POULTRY AND STOCK LEFT TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES FARMER'S DISAPPEARANCE Unusual circumstances surround the disappearance of Robert Coombridge and his wife who for the past six months have been farming on a leasehold property near Fairy Springs. _ Apparently Coombridge on Saturday disposed of a quantity of furniture and household effects, together with a number of pigs and leaving a large quantity of poultry and several cows which were running on the farm to take care of themselves, left i the place without any indication of his destination. The poultry and cows were discovered by neighbours, but had been unfed and without attention for three days. Coombridge left no indication of his whereabouts and inquiries by the police have failed to bring any information to light. Mr. and Mrs. Coombridge were last seen on the property on Monday, but since that date nothing has been heard of them. It is presumed that after realising on a portion of their property, they have left the district but in the absence of any information some curiosity is felt regarding their sudden departure. Coombridge. it is understood, was occupying the farm on lease and this had not expired.
