Guide Farewelled
An enjoyable valedictory party was held by the Whakarewarewa guides on Thursday night", when they farewelled Guide Eileen, one of the popular twin guides at Whakarewarewa, who has left to rejoin her family in the Manawatu district. Guide Eileen has been well-known at Whakarewarewa f oi* a number of years and has been one of the most popular guides at the pa!. The function took the I form of a social during the course of which a presentation was made to the guest of the evening. Missionary Work Miss Z. A. Sowry one of the New Zealand Anglican Church missionaries who is. working in India in the Diocese of Dornakal, under the native Indian Bishop, Azariati, is spending the week-end in Rotorua, being in the Dominion on furlough. She will speak to the children of St. Luke's Sunday Sehool on Sunday afternoon, and also twill give a short address at the St. Luke's Girls' Club dn the Parish Hall on Monday night.
