The Government meteorolonlat l«•ued the following weather report and forecast last nifht: — A slight anti-eyclone is passing to the north, while a depression covers the western Tasman and barometers are low over southern Australia generally. Forecast: Winds, west to northerlies and moderate to strong. Weather : For the most part fair to .fine and mild, but rain developing in the south-west and extending gradually over the western and far southern distrjcts. Following are the barometer, m.axlmum and minimum thermomatar, sunehine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Sta« tion by the Rotorua Tourlst Department for the 24 houra ended at 9.30 a.m. ye-sfcerday. Barometer 30. 1351ns. T.hermometer (max.) 64.1deg. Thermometer (min.) 40-5deg. Thermometer (min on grass) 30.7deg. Rainfall Nil Bright Sunshine 3.4hrs.
