PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. MIXED FOUiRSOMESi PLAYED. Labour Day m'arked the offijciial closing, of -the season's- activities at the Rotorua Golf Club, and although the weather was decidedly boistero'us, a large number of members and visiting igolfers was present to take part iri the .mdxed foursomes which were played over the course in the afternoon. The winning pair was Miss G. L'a Trobie Hill and S. 'E. Carr, who returned a gross score of 83. At *4.30 p.m., the president, Dr. S. H. H'ay, in officiallyi closing the season,' 'oongratulated >the club upon its successful year's opemtions and asked Mrs. Hay to distribute the prizes' wonby the various' members.
