; FRANKTON There was a full yarding of fat sheep at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards yesterday, the majority of the yarding comprising fat ewes for which prices were steady at slightly below last week's quotations. There was again a short supply of fat wethers and values were slightly firmer. Lambs were penned in good numbers and sold equal to last week s prices. Beef came forward in well up to average numbers and last week's improved quotations were well maintained. Pigs came forward in large numbers and were in good demand, last week's values being improved upon. Quotations: — Sheep : — Prime fat woolly wethers, 26s to 30s 6d; extra prime fat shorn wethers, 23s to 27s; fat shorn wethers, 22s to 24s 6d; extra prime maiden ewes, to 21s; fat woolly ewes, to 15s 3d; fat shorn ewes, to 14s; unfinished ewes, to 14s 6d; fat hoggets, 19s to 27s 6d; fat lambs, 18s to 24s. Beef: — Prime fat bullocks, £6 10s to £6 19s; medium prime fat bullocks, £5 17s 6d to £6 7s 6d; light prime fat bullocks, £5 10s to £5 15s; prime fat cows, £4 14s to £4 19s; medium fat cows, £3 17s 6d to £4 10s; light prime cows, £3 7s 6d to £3 15s; fat cows, £2 10s to £2 14s 6d. Pigs: Baconers, 42s to 58s; porkers, 28s to 38s; weaners, 12s to 16s; lar-ge stores, 22s to 28s.
