MEMBER OF BOARD SAYS THERE IS EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION

— By Telegraph — Copyright).

Christchurch, Tuesday. References to alleged abuses of the Unemployment Board's building subsidy scheme are contained in a letter received from Mr. M. Bromley, a member of the board, by the secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Carpenters. Mr. Bromley points out that the blame for the unfair advantage being taken of certain aspects of the scheme cannot wholly be attributed to the employing authorities, as tbere are cases of workers themselves having entered into collusion with the employers to evade the restrictions.
