THE GOLDWATER TROPHY The following are the results of the second round matches in the Goldwater trophy competition, played by members of the Motutara Golf Club over the week-end : — Miss Hislop beat Miss E. C. Murray, 1 up. Miss Mitchell beat Miss Herrick, 5 and 4. Mrs. King won by default from Miss Hillcoat. Second round results of the golf balls competition were: — P. Fisher beat F. W. Lee, 1 up. J. F. Lee beat J. B. Lee, 5 and 4. Watts beat Robertson, 4 and 3. Potter beat Merriman, 2 and 1. The Draw . The draw for the Goldwater trophy, games to be played by October 30, is: — • Miss Hislop v. Miss Mitchell. Mrs. King a bye. The draw for the golf balls competition games to be played by October 30, is: — McNaughtou v. J. F. Lee. Watts v. Potter. I'. Fisher' a bye.
