The Pope will be represented in the Praetice Court on October 31, when Mt. J. Hassett will appear for His Holiness to argue the validity of the will of the late Patrick Lawlor, of Camberwell, who left £108,000 in Victoria,. and other estate outside the State. - One half of the residuary estate goes to the Pope for the propagation of the f aith, and the other half, in addition to a specific bequest, is to be set aside for the establishment ef a Koman Catholic daily newspaper according to the directions of the will. Because of diflieulties in carrying out the terms of the will, an originating summons was taken out hy the National Trustees, Executors and Agency Co., Ltd. This asks for judieial directions.
