Check wheel hearings and king-pin bushings when the front wheels Ibegim to wobhle. Lack of oil will cause th'ese parts to wear. Frequent Tubrication and periodic adjustment wdll keep them in good condition. * * * The following suggestions are made for putting car isprings in good con-i dition; Firsit, thoroughly wash the. springs; thoroughly tighten thiei Ubolts; check the positiom of all sprinigi clips and tighten them; spray the springs with penetrating oil and grease th'e shackle holts. * * * Carbon will collect mere quiekly if the surface ef a spark plug porcelairt or insulator is scratched with a knife or sandpia.per. Thiei best way to re-r move carbon from the porcelain is to soak ihe plugs in denatured alcohol, cleaning ihe insulator wifh a small, • stiff hrush and a piece of cloth. * x * ■Springs should have proper care todssure comfortahle riding. W,ell4uhricated springs last longer. A mdx-
tuxe of graphita and .oil is very penetratinigi and lasting. Spray this hetween ihe leaves and ride in comfort without the annoyance of the squeaks. A squeak is lannoying, hut it is also a warning, for it denotes lack of luhrication. Heed these warnings promptly for longer spring life. Spring shackles should !be oiled or greased regularly to preserve the hronze or hrass from which the bushings are made.
