BRITISH CABINET MEETING

MAY BE PROTRACTED (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) London, Oetober 18 Cabinet meets to-day to receive a full statement by the Foreign Minister, Sir John Simon regarding the disarmament position and to discuss Britain's policy in the light of recent events. It was plainly intimated last night that no announcement of the Governuxent's attitude can be expected until the position has been fully examined. Cabinet has decided upon the instructions to be given the British delegates to the resumed conference of the Disarmament Convention on Oetober 26. To-day's Cabinet meeting uxay be protracted and may possibly be adjourned.
