A RARE DISEASE
HAIRDRESSER'S DEATH. A rare disease was mentioned at the inquest at M'anehester, England, recently( on Gladys Brown, of Blackley. She had been engaged as a hairdresser aiid tinter, but about 12 months, ago ber health suffered. It was stated that death was due to congestion of the liver caused hy the absorption of some subsitute of the benzine series. All the dyes used, it was added, contained benzine or a derivative, and they could be absorbed through the skin or by breathing. A verdict of accidental death was returned. No blame was attached to her firm,. ■
