RIFLE SHOOTING
ROTORUA CLUB FINAL SHOOT HELD LAST EVENING RESULT OF FOURTH SERIES The final shoot for the season of the Rotorua Miniature Rifle Club was held last evening, good scores being registered by the majority of competitors. The self-handicap shoot was won by W. Sibley. Following are the scores of those who obtained 55 points or over in the final shoot. Men: — E. C. Adolph 68, T. McElroy 67, A. J. Whitley 67, W. Winslade 67, W. Bates 65, W. Sibley 65, R. Norman 64, A. Iremonger 64. J. McAlees 66, Montague 63, W. Currie 63, R. Price 62, Middleton 62, W. Hollis 61, K. Donaldson 61, J. Martin 60, B. Fleming 59. Ladies: — Miss R. Owens 65, Miss D. Adolph 55. The finals' for the f ourth series resulted as follows: — A grade (off the rifle) : — Winslade, 1; McAlees, 2. With handicap. — Iremonger and W. Sibley to shoot off. B grade (off rifle) : — B. Fleming, 1; Gardner, 2. With handicap : — Miss R. Owens, 1 ; Miss L. West, 2.
