(Rec. 7.35 p.m.) Berlin, Oetober 17. Captain Eggeraldt, a S'ocialist exchief of police, who was previously imprisoned, was shot dead on the Dutch frontier when attempting to enter Holland. It appears that Capt. Eggeraldt escaped from the concentration- camp at Kapendorf and hid during the night in the woods.. He tried to dash across the frontier line so his pursuers fired killing him.
