HINT TO LARWOOD
London, Oct. 16. The Yorkshire Post in a leader on the "player journalist nuisance" headed "shut up?" says: "Larwood is telling the world what he will do and what he won't do regarding bodyline bowling, but it is a comforting fact that in the test matches he will do what he is told. This hardly 'excuses his tactless blusterings. He rushed into print as soon as the team returned. Apparently he is afflicted with a tendency to explain himself. No harm will be done to our relations with Australia if Larwood, for one, is restrained from such outbursts."
