WOOL PRICES
P.LIGHT UPWARD MOVE London, October 15. Mr. W. P. Devereux, representative in London of the Australia Woolgrowers' Council, reports that Bradford prices for Merino tops . have moved against the buyer. Some business has been transacted, the output being maintained. Some business has transpired in medium and fine erossbred tops with slightly higher prices. Crossbred yarns are firm at last week's level. There is a rather better tone, with more inquiry, but little new business in most of the Continental markets which are somewhat disturbed by the political and eurrency eomplications. The saies of .tops to Germany lately have been only moderate. The Continental futures marke's are more active and the recent decline in quotations has been reeovered.
