BURIED WITH HER DOGS
WOMAN'S DYING WISH In accordance with the dying wish of Mrs. Barbara Woods, who died at Ci-eeksea Ferry, Essex, England, recently, her three mongrel dogs were buried with her in the same grave in Canewdon Churchyard, Roehford. Mrs. Woods had previously lived at Birkenhead and her dogs died there and were buried in packingcases in her back garden. When she came to Essex she had the animals exhumed and brought the remains with her. With the eonsent of the t vicar they were placed in her grave the day before her funeral service. It is stated that the placing of the (packing-cases' in the grave was seen .by someone, who gave information to ithe police. An investigation was made, but when the police received the reasurrances of the vicar and Mrs. "Wood's son, the inquiry was not pursued further.
