COMMONWEALTH CABINET IN DANGER OF DEFEAT MAY BE DISSOLUTION
-By Telegraph— Copyright).
Sydney, October 13. The Sydney Morning Herald's Canberra correspondent says a serious situation has developed in the Federal Parliament. It was learned that the Country Party intended to insist upon -an amendment of the bill to give further concessions to old age pensioners, and that it would receive support not only from the Federal Labour Party and Beasley group, but from the Government's own supporters, wh'o are prepared to vote against the Ministry unless some compromise is effeeted. A[ compromise is likely, but the Government regards the matter as vital, and if defeated would seek a dissolution.
