CORONER'S COMMENT UPON LOSS OF LAUNCH "ADVANCE"

Napier, Tuesday. "The whole of the evidence points to the fact that the vessel was unseaworthy from all standpoints," said Mr. Mowlem, coroner, at the inquest which concluded this morning into the deaths of George Howell (Napier), Albert Cheesman (Wanganui), Robert Pembo (Wanganui), the crew of the launeh Advance, wliich disappeared after she left Napier on July 5, 1932, for Wanganui. A verdict was returned that the three men lost their lives when the vessel foundered. ...
