Tha Govarnment rhsteorolbfpsf lasued the following weather report and forecast last niyht:— General Situation: A moderate anti-cyclone covers New Zealand while a westerly depression which... is approaching, is apparently losits intensity. Winds: Varliable at first north of New Plymouth and Napier but north erlies soon prevailing generally and gradually freshening. Weather: Fine generally at first but showers soon developing in westerly districts and in the far south. Temperatures becoming milder. Following are the barometer, maxlhium and minimum thermomeiar, sunshine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Station by the Rotorua Tourist Department for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yesterday.
