VICE-RIGAL SYMPATHY
LORD BLEDISLOE'S MESSAGE Wellington, Sunday. The Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, sent the followiug message to Mrs. H. E. Holland a.t -Wesaport: "Lady Bledisloe and I were most deeply distressed to hear of the death of your' distinguished husband whose conspicuous career of public service to this Dominion has been cut short with' such drastic suddenness. We send you and to your family, our heartfelt sympathy in your sad ,hercavement and irreparable loss."
