The Qovernment meteorolonlat la- . aued the following weather report and forecast laat night: — - General situation: An anti-cyclone now extends between New South Wales and the Dominion while a slight westerly depression is moving on to Tasma'nia. \ Winds: South-wfesterly towesterly. [Vloderate generally, but later freshening in and south of oCook Straight. Weather :Mainly fair to fine, but some scattered showers in some western districts and in the far south. Following are the barometer, maxlmum and minimum thermometer, sunshine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Station by the Rotorua Tourist Department for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yeiterday.
