Edgewater, Sept. 28. A delegation of 1500 strikers from Mr. H. Ford's Chester plant, who recently downed tools, appeared hefors the same company's local plant, following a night ride. Two hundred and fifty automohiles were in the calvalcade, and they hegan picketing, resulting in a wTalk out of the 2200 employe.es here in sympathy strike. Immediately following the Chester strike, Mr. Ford's officials closrd the plant, and efforts of the Washingtqn National Reeovery Act's Labour Board to mediate failed. ) Senator Wagner declared himself helpless, saying: "I cannot stop an amployer from shutting down his plant if he wants to."
