PRICES WELL MAINTAINED London, Sept. 27. At the wool saies 11,225 bales were offered including 6013 of New, Zealand. About 10,206 bales were sold. There was a brisk sale, with active home and continental competition. Prices were fully maintained. Merinos. — Greasy: Queensland, 17id; New South Wales, 18d; Western " Australian, 18d. Scoured: Queensland, 28d; New South Wales, 24!d; New Zealand "Hm/Oxford," top price 24d, average 23 5-8d. New Zealand slipe. — Half bred : "Parora," 17d and 16 5-8d. Crossbred: "Pareora," 131d and 12£d.
