WESTFIELD Auckland, Wednesday The New Zealand Loan and M/ercantile Agency Company, report: — At Westfield beef was penned in average numbers there being & steady d-emand and values were firm at late rates. Extra choice ox sold at 20s per 1001b, choice prime 17s to 19s, secondary and plain 13s to 16s, prime young eow and heifer 16s to 19s, secondary 12s to 15s. No extra heavy prime steers were penned. Heavy prime steers realised £7 to £8 2s 6d; lighter £6 to £6 17s 6d; light, £5 to. £5 17s 6d; small and , urifinisbed, £3 to £4 17s 6d; extra heavy prime cows and heifers, £6 to £6 15s; heavy, £5 to £5 17s 6d; lighter, £3- 17s 6d to £4 17s 6d; light, £2 15s to £3 15s; others, 30s to 50s.
