MEETING AT MAKETU SECOND ANNUAL FIXTURE OF ROTORUA AND BAY CLUB INTERESTING PROGRAMME The Rotorua and Bay. of Plenty Hunt Club will hold its second annual point-to-point steeplechase and gymkhana meeting at Maketu Junetion to-day over the properties of Messrs. Snodgrass and Cruickshank. The success of the initial meeting held at Rotorua last year confirmed the club in its policy to establish this as an annual fixture and the entries for to-day's meeting are most encouraging. Eight events are on the programme which is as follows: — The first event is timed to commence at noon and a dance will be held in the Capitol Theatre, Te Puke, in the evening when the trophies won during the day will be presented.
